Job description

Job Description The Role: Senior Executive Assistant to Founder Location: San Francisco, CA | Hybrid Industry: Early-Stage Technology Startup Compensation: $170K-$250K base DOE + incredible benefits This is a truly unique opportunity to work alongside a visionary executive as they build the next big product in the Bay Area from the ground up. Joining at the early stages, this Senior Executive Assistant will operate at the center of an ambitious, fast-moving environment where priorities evolve quickly, expectations are high, and there is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact from day one. We're looking for an exceptional Senior Executive Assistant who has previously supported a Founder and/or CEO within the technology ecosystem and knows what it takes to keep an incredibly busy executive operating at their best.

You'll be managing the traditional complexities of Founder support while also embracing new ways of working, particularly through AI, automation, and emerging technology. If you are genuinely passionate about AI, constantly experimenting with new tools, and naturally think about how technology can make an executive and organization more efficient, this could be an incredible next step. Day-to-Day Provide high-level, dedicated support to the Founder across an extremely dynamic and rapidly evolving schedule.

Own a complex executive calendar, strategically managing meetings, priorities, focus time, and last-minute changes. Coordinate extensive domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, detailed itineraries, and changing logistics. Serve as a trusted gatekeeper and point of contact for investors, executives, founders, partners, candidates, and other high-level stakeholders.

Anticipate the Founder's needs and proactively solve problems before they become distractions. Prepare the Founder for meetings by ensuring they have the appropriate context, materials, agendas, and follow-up items. Track key priorities, commitments, deadlines, and action items to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Help establish systems, processes, and operating rhythms as the company continues to grow and evolve. Leverage AI tools, automation, and emerging technologies to streamline workflows, improve productivity, synthesize information, conduct research, and enhance executive operations. Evaluate and experiment with new AI platforms and productivity tools, identifying creative ways to integrate them into the Founder's day-to-day.

Assist with special projects and evolving business needs that extend beyond traditional Executive Assistant responsibilities. Handle highly confidential information with exceptional judgment and discretion. Remain flexible and adaptable in an early-stage environment where priorities can change quickly and no two days look exactly the same.

What We're Looking For Significant experience supporting a Founder, CEO, or similarly senior executive, ideally within a fast-paced technology company or startup. Exceptional technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and integrate new platforms, systems, and workflows. A genuine passion for AI and emerging technology, with hands-on familiarity across multiple AI tools and platforms.

Someone who actively uses technology to work smarter and is excited to continue experimenting as the AI landscape evolves. Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence interacting with senior-level stakeholders. Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
