The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Vice President of Research and AI Technology based in our San Jose office..

This is a highly trusted position suited for someone who brings a true thought-partner mindset - able to quickly grasp context,anticipateneeds, flag risks, and offer sound recommendations.

Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong business judgment, and the ability tooperatecalmly and effectively under pressure. The ideal candidate is comfortable acting as connective tissue across leaders and functions, builds influence quickly in a large global organization, anddemonstratesthe highest level of integrity, emotional intelligence, and discretion.

What You'll Do

  • Maintaina highly complexand rapidly changing calendar; coordinate scheduling and filter and manage commitments

  • Arrange a significant volume of domestic and international travel

  • Plan and support quarterly All Hands and teamonsites

  • Support space planning and seatinglogisticsfor the team, coordinating with Workplace/Facilities as needed

  • Process business expenses andpurchaseorders on behalf of the VP

  • Collaborate regularly with cross-functional Administrative & Executive Assistants, and provide backup coverage during vacations/illness

  • Partner closely with the Chief of Staff andtheResearch and AI leadership team to sustain the operating rhythm and help drive key initiatives forward

  • Support leadership meetings, offsites, and organizational forums through scheduling,logistics, preparation, and follow-through

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • 7+ years of relevant experience

  • Strong attention to detail while working effectively with minimal direction

  • Clear, concise, executive-level communication

  • Ability to remain flexible, embrace change, and manage expectations in ambiguous or fast-changing situations

  • Sound judgment in handling confidential information with integrity and discretion

  • Ability to juggle multiple demands at once - from the mundane to the strategic - and prioritize conflicting requests and deadlines

  • Willingness to travel occasionally to provide on-site support at events/conferences

  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) and other productivity tools (Slack, email, calendaring)

  • A positive, proactive, can-do attitude in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $84,200 -- $174,700 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. In California, the pay range for this position is $120,700 - $174,700

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
