Assistant Manager of Environmental Services

The Gardens at West Shore | Camp Hill, PA

The Gardens at West Shore is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager of Environmental Services to join our skilled nursing facility in Camp Hill, PA.

The Assistant Manager of Environmental Services will assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Environmental Services Department to ensure the facility is maintained in an efficient, clean, safe, and comfortable manner for residents, staff, and visitors.

Shift

• Full-Time

• Day Shift with occasional weekends and on-call

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring the facility and department are maintained in a clean and safe manner

• Maintain sufficient supplies, disinfectants, and equipment to provide a sanitary environment

• Ensure all environmental services staff follow Universal Precautions, established safety rules, fire and disaster procedures, and departmental policies

• Make daily rounds to ensure environmental services staff are performing required duties properly

• Monitor department operations to maintain compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards

• Assist in maintaining infection control and sanitation procedures throughout the facility

• Oversee housekeeping and laundry operations as needed

• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operable

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience preferred

• Training in environmental control practices and procedures preferred

• Medical or long-term care experience desirable

• Strong leadership and organizational skills

• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
