Job description

Summary
The Sterile Support Technician will be responsible for supporting the lab technicians by performing various tasks under the supervision of the Lab Manager and Pharmacists. All tasks and duties must be completed in accordance and compliance with HIPAA guidelines, State and Federal laws, and current company policies and procedures.
Reporting Structure
This position reports to the Lab Manager.
Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all safety procedures, USP guidelines, and company Standard Operating Procedures
  • Restock compounding labs daily and assist lab team when supplies run low throughout the day
  • Responsible for performing filter integrity testing on capsule filters
  • Responsible for disinfecting, organizing, and restocking sterile batch supplies to be used the following shift
  • Responsible for completing/documenting various daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning within the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Support preparation and processing of supplies for steam sterilization and glassware for depyrogenation
  • Responsible for completing/documenting assigned environmental monitoring tasks assigned for each compounding suite
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High school diploma required
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Capable of lifting and pulling up to 30lbs
  • Capable of working with small delicate analytical equipment
  • Skill/experience in the Microsoft Office: Word and Excel

Working Schedule
  • Monday - Wednesday: 1:30pm to 12:00am
  • Thursday - Friday: 1:30pm to 7:00pm
