Job description

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities Under the direction of the Human Resources Director and the Human Resource Manager the Human Resources Intern will work collaboratively within the bureau to provide administrative support with day-to-day HR functions. The Intern will assist and be responsible for employee data management, postings, and communication initiatives. They will assist with onboarding new hires by receiving and reviewing required new hire documents, orientation, and creating new employee IDs.

Additionally, they will process exit interviews, assist with time keeping processes, letters, interviews, filing, and special projects. Qualifications The ideal candidate will be a full or part-time student working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree in Human Resources or related field. Seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, inquisitive student desiring to grow their knowledge of Human Resource Management.

Ability to keep information confidential, work collaboratively, excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, and attendance are essential to this position. Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours a week. Please note that this internship is unpaid.
