Hourly rate is $17 - $18 per hour.
The NEEDS Center has openings for 2 Full Time Assistant House Managers in our Orange Park residential programs. The schedules are mostly 2nd shift during the week with a required weekend shift.
The Assistant House Manager will assist and support adults with developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible while enjoying all aspects of Community Living.
Responsibilities include:
  • Works cooperatively with the Program Coordinator and other supervisory personnel in training staff.
  • Coordination and supervision of daily operations of the program.
  • Monitors and participates in the day-to-day implementation of clinical programs as well as ISP development.
  • Serves as a role model for staff in all areas of client programming, client services and professional practice.
  • Schedule includes evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications preferred:
  • Bachelor Degree in a related field preferred, but not necessary
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a residential program environment.
  • Good supervisory and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • MUST have Med Administration

The NEEDS Center specializes in providing services and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). There is a particular emphasis on providing services to individuals with interfering challenging behavior and/or dual diagnosis. The NEEDS Center's philosophy is rooted in the tenets of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Positive Behavior Support (PSB). The services and supports provided by the NEEDS Center draw on the best of both disciplines in order to assist individuals to become as independent as they can be.
