SUMMARY:

Assist the Grounds Manager by providing exceptional visual landscapes, maintaining all our properties from the Golf course to the beauty of the entry and relaxation spaces of the Shore Lodge and many more... Share your knowledge and safe operation while mowing, using small and large snow removal equipment, line trimming, edging, pruning and blowing. Additional skills needed for irrigation repair, disease and insect identification and control, weed control and plant and tree identification. If you have at least 3 years of Landscape Maintenance experience, 2 years as a supervisor and are a whiz at math, this is the job for you! Eventually you will get to obtain a State of Idaho Pesticide Applicators License!


WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

  • Effectively lead, motivate and supervise a team of landscaping employees.
  • Regularly supervise, inspect and provide feedback to landscape team members and Grounds/Landscaping Manager.
  • Ensure all staff is trained properly, including safe and proper use of equipment, vehicles, and pesticides.
  • Conduct regular training with staff on the implementation of efficient and effective landscaping procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections on our properties to ensure we are delivering exceptional quality landscapes.
  • Ensure preventative equipment maintenance procedures are carried out on a regularly scheduled basis and maintain all records for associated equipment (utilize MS Office, Word and Excel).
  • Assist with the recruitment and selection process of landscape team members.
  • Provide a positive culture for staff development that promote cleanliness, professional appearance, efficiency, effective procedures, communication skills, work attitudes, and work ethics.
  • Attend required meetings as requested by leadership.
Requirements:

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Prior successful staff leadership and management abilities.
  • Certificates/Licenses: Valid Driver’s License and clean Driving Record.
  • Education/Experience: High school diploma; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Successful written and verbal interaction with customers, internal staff and leadership.
