We are seeking a Jr. Motion Graphics Designer/ Animator who is dependable, with a strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task and excel in a deadline driven environment. Someone who remains calm under pressure and is flexible to changing priorities based on business needs.
This is a temporary part-time role with the possibility of evolving to a full-time permanent role..

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following):
Create motion graphics and graphic designs, seeing projects through from storyboard to completion.
Ingest and group/sync raw material from video shoots into Adobe Premiere and sync audio.
Assemble and edit together string-outs of full production shows (multi-camera), specific scenes (multiangle), TV commercials, sizzle reels (short form) or documentary-style pieces (long form), while keeping with current trends and styles
Assist with basic sound design, audio mixing, and color correction.
Implement graphics and titles in a manner that is pleasing to the eye while keeping within shows guidelines.
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of output pieces.
Resize and Upload videos to online server and delivery to appropriate vendor.
Brainstorm with Creative Directors, Account Executives, and clients.
Consult with producers, directors, execs from production to post-production process and be able to implement the feedback into a creative solution within a timely manner.
Maintain extensive assets and project files according to established organization methods and file-naming protocols.
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industrys best practices to maximize efficiency.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (include but are not limited to the following):
Bachelors Degree in a related field with a minimum of 1 year experience in graphics design & animation.
Strong editing and motion graphics skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal).
Must have knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Media Encoder and Photoshop.
Problem solver who can work on tight deadlines in a creative environment.
Be able to articulate creative concepts and develop storyboards in an organized manner.
Knowledge of broadcast/digital video standards.
Proven ability to handle a large volume as well as being a quick thinker/learner.
Experience in the television, advertising, affiliate sales or production industry, is a plus.
BONUS SKILLSETS (not required but a plus to have)
Production environment (ie) shooting, lighting, assistant directing and capturing of audio and video content.
Proficient with Mirrorless camera and equipment.
Cinema 4d or similar 3d programs and rendering.
Salary: $25/hr - $27/hr
