About Wilderness Ridge Country Club
Wilderness Ridge is the most unique golf course in the state of Nebraska. With its granite, boulder-lined ponds and streams, bent grass fairways, and more than 6,000 trees throughout the 18 hole championship course and 9 hole executive track, it's truly a resort-style golfing experience. Wilderness Ridge also offers a casual restaurant featuring steaks and seafood, as well as private banquet spaces for events of any occasion and size.
A Day in the Life
The Host is responsible for greeting guests and seating them in a welcoming, prompt, and efficient manner.
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday from 4 PM - 9 PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Greet Members and guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Study all dining rooms, table numbers, seat numbers and daily events.
  • Oversight of reservations and table turn times.
  • Assist service staff, when time permits, with ensuring tables have water and are cleared of any dirty glasses, dishes, or debris.
  • Knowledge of daily club operations, including events and operating hours.
  • Thank members and guests; invites them to return.
  • Attend staff meetings including pre-shift (line-up) sessions and training as required.
  • Restaurant opening and closing duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school required.
  • Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
  • Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations.
