Job description

Position Title: Assistant Superintendent for Instruction
Salary/Pay Scale: Competitive
Requirements:
As a member of Cabinet, the Assistant Superintendent for Instruction leads the District's instructional program and provides strategic direction for curriculum, assessment, and professional development, with a focus on continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
โ€ข Demonstrated leadership in the following areas: UPK-12 instructional strategy, professional development, instructional supervision, curriculum development and implementation, program evaluation, accountability, compliance, and educational technology.
โ€ข Experience overseeing instructional systems, managing budgets, and leading major school and district initiatives to improve student achievement and organizational effectiveness.
โ€ข Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience and five (5) years of successful principal experience preferred.
โ€ข Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
โ€ข Appropriate New York State School District Level Administrator Certification.
