Job description

Fremont Golf Club is seeking a motivated individual to fill a 2nd Assistant Superintendent position. Fremont Golf Club is a private 18-hole golf championship course with wonderful practice facilities. FGC was established in the early 1900’s designed by the noted Scottish architect Tom Bendelow. FGC has hosted numerous Nebraska state events such as Nebraska Amateur, Nebraska Mid-Am, Senior Amateur, Nebraska Match Play, the annual Fremont Open and several other championship tournaments. FGC is looking to add a 2nd Assistant Superintendent to its award-winning agronomy team! The 2nd assistant superintendent responsibilities will be assisting the Superintendent and Director of Agronomy daily with maintenance on the golf course. Tasks will include but not limited to pesticide application, irrigation repair and maintenance, supervising the crew, irrigating, record keeping, daily set up of the golf course, tree trimming and other jobs relating to up keep of a golf course!

Job Title- 2nd Assistant Superintendent

Education- 2-year degree,2 years golf course maintenance experience, or recent graduate of any turf related school, would be preferred but not required! Anyone looking to make a positive career change with a willingness to learn will be considered

Nebraska Pesticide Applicators License or ability to obtain in 90 days

Pay Rate- Open depending on experience Full Time
