What You'll Do
  • Dispatch CDL-A drivers while maximizing efficiency and equipment utilization.
  • Monitor shipments to ensure safe, timely deliveries.
  • Maintain regular communication with drivers regarding schedules, delays, customer updates, and route changes.
  • Coordinate freight movements with customers, brokers, and internal departments.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, FMCSA requirements, and Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
  • Monitor GPS and fleet management systems.
  • Resolve service issues quickly while minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch records and transportation documentation.
  • Support drivers by providing timely communication and problem resolution.
  • Build strong relationships with customers through exceptional service.
  • Assist leadership in improving dispatch processes and operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of transportation dispatch or logistics operations experience
  • Experience dispatching CDL-A commercial drivers
  • Strong understanding of trucking operations
  • Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations
