Job Description

The Coordinator, Formats & Programming will report to Sr. Manager, Programming and have oversight of creating, editing, and distributing commercial break formats for all live NBC Sports and Peacock programming, including but not limited to college sports, football, cycling, golf, horse racing, baseball, motorsports, Olympic sports and programs, rugby, soccer, tennis, entertainment, and news. The NBC Sports formats determine the structure of each television and streaming production, including the number of segments, length and placement of commercial breaks, and execution of commercial integrations.

  1. Interface with sales, marketing, affiliate relations, and league partners to generate commercial break formats that meet required inventory expectations
  2. Coordinate commercial break formats with producers and assistant directors
  3. Adjust commercial break formats according to sales and production needs
  4. Maintain understanding of league contracts and partner obligations to respond to execute commercial break format change requests accordingly
  5. Respond to urgent communications as needed after hours and over weekends
Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  1. 0-1 years of relevant work experience
  2. Bachelor's degree in media, communications, finance, accounting, business, or related fields
  3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on proficiency with Excel
