We are looking to hire a Dental Assistant who is excited about a fun and rewarding career in the Pediatric Dental field. This position would support our three Southwest Missouri offices in Springfield, Nixa, and Republic. Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Present the patient to the doctor.

  • Clean the patient’s teeth.

  • Fluoride application

  • Take, expose and develop digital radiographs (bitewings, panoramic).

  • Provide hygiene and diet education.

  • Assist the dentist during treatment procedures in office or surgery center 

  • Take impressions.

  • Review schedule to make sure appointments are scheduled appropriately.

  • Set-up and tear down dental chairs and operatory rooms.

  • Conduct consultations with parents discussing extensive treatment needs. 

  • Clean and sterilize instruments.

  • Restock supplies in rooms and sterilization area.

  • Infection control & maintenance of OSHA guidelines.

  • Providing the highest level of care for multiple patients at the same time.
