We're looking for individuals with great communication and customer service skills who are eager to learn the trade!


As an Excavation Laborer, you'll evaluate customer needs, provide repair options, and perform drain cleaning services. You'll have the chance to work both independently and as part of a supportive team. We value good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist excavation crew with digging, grading, trenching, and backfilling tasks
  • Prepare, clear, and clean job sites before and after excavation
  • Support the operation of excavation equipment by signaling or guiding machinery
  • Set up safety barriers, warning signs, and other site safety measures
  • Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
  • Measure and mark excavation areas according to site plans
  • Assist with drainage systems, pipe installation, or utility locating as needed

Requirements

  • Previous construction or excavation experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of excavation equipment and hand tools
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
  • OSHA 10 or 30 safety training (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Good character and ability to work well within a team
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must meet company motor vehicle record (MVR) eligibility requirements
