What You'll Do as an Excavation Foreman Assistant:

  • Assist with daily excavation and sitework activities on residential and light commercial projects within approximately one hour of Bernville, PA.
  • Perform rough grading, finish grading, trenching, and general excavation work alongside the crew.
  • Operate excavation equipment and drive a tri-axle dump truck safely and efficiently.
  • Help execute daily project tasks and maintain workflow when the Foreman is off-site.
  • Support and guide less experienced crew members in safe and effective excavation practices.
  • Prepare materials, tools, and equipment needed to keep projects running efficiently throughout the day.
  • Uphold GHL Construction's standards for safety, workmanship, and job site quality.


Our Ideal Excavation Foreman Assistant:

  • Experienced: At least 3 years of excavation experience in sitework, grading, or related construction work and holds a CDL-A license or is willing to work toward obtaining one with company support.
