Job Title: Prep Laborer - Excavation/Dirt Crew

Job Summary

We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Prep Laborer to join our excavation and dirt crew. This position is responsible for preparing job sites, assisting equipment operators, and performing general labor to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in physical work, and is committed to being part of a productive team.

Responsibilities

  • Shovel, rake, and grade dirt, gravel, and other materials.
  • Prepare and clean job sites before, during, and after excavation work.
  • Assist excavation equipment operators with daily tasks.
  • Set grades and help maintain proper site elevations.
  • Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
  • Perform other general labor duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous construction, excavation, or landscaping experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
