Essential Job Functions

The main goal of the Administrative Assistant is to maximize organizational efficiency by streamlining daily workflows, coordinating between teams, and optimizing processes.

  • Liaison between the client, KAMS and our Operations teams
  • Commitment to excellence in Customer Service
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Commitment to timely follow up
  • Working with internal operations to ensure accuracy of data
  • KPI reporting for clients
  • Respond to any customer requests in a timely fashion via email or phone
  • Perform weekly calls with clients and attend meetings
  • Daily tracking and collection of shipment milestone data (working cross-functionally with Ocean Import, Ocean Export, and Air Import teams)
  • Updating our operating system (GLF) with accurate event dates
  • Ensuring all required milestones are properly updated in EDI 315 for the VIP global account


Qualifications for the position:

  • 2-4 years’ experience in similar role & Industry preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly proficient with MS Office Suite - Word & Excel (formulas and pivot tables
  • High school diploma required
  • Ability to deal well with change and ambiguity
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
