PostNet IL106 (Lake Forest, Illinois) is looking for someone special to help our rapidly growing business. The primary responsibility of this role is creating and preparing electronic files for printing through a variety of means to meet a variety of customer needs from marketing materials to promotional items. Along with the rest of our team, this team member is also responsible for setting up and fixing customer files to ensure a quality finished product, answering phones, emails, and assisting our clients at the front counter. This is a full-time position

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
  • Excellent graphic design and page layout skills
  • Proficiency in the following:
    • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc)
    • Presentation (Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides)
    • Spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets)
    • Word processing (Microsoft Word, Google Docs)
  • Strong background with Windows operating systems

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:
  • Create promotional materials, including but not limited to multimedia presentations, banners, newsletters, flyers, signs, posters, and business cards
  • Involvement in the output, workflow management, and production of orders, up to and including operating a digital printing machine
  • Consult with customers about their graphics needs, assist with using related applications on center computers to complete desired tasks
  • Produce quotes for clients' review, create and assemble final layouts to prepare for the appropriate print process, and review final layouts and suggest improvements, as needed.
  • Assist customers with other center services as needed (which include, but are not limited to, shipping, packing, and copying)
  • Maintain a clean workspace, assist with sales transactions, and help maintain an archive of images, photos, or previous work products.

PHYSICAL AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to stand behind a sales counter for extended periods of time (potentially 90 minutes at peak times)
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with customers by phone, by email, and in person
  • May be required to operate a motor vehicle (Valid driver's license required)
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of emergency policies and procedures
  • Must perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner
