The Opportunity:
Assistant Director of Engineering
Who We Look For:
We are looking for an individual who can provide support to our engineering department. You will be a senior manager who works closely with the Director of Engineering to ensure we have the highest level of engineering operations to ensure the safety and comfort of guests and employees.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead a diverse and dynamic team

  • Oversee the development of the team members

  • Develop an annual budget

  • Ensure full adherence to company core and culture standards

  • Partner well with other leaders throughout the resort

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Previous leadership experience in a luxury, hospitality environment

  • Prior experience working with blueprints, wiring diagrams and HVAC systems

  • A passion for inspiring others through coaching and development

  • Experience with hiring and onboarding positions, including hourly and management levels

  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy

  • Stable communication skills, sense of humility and ability to build effective long-term relationships

  • Possess a collaborative approach

  • Strong engineering background knowledge, with a passion to create and innovate

  • Ability to maintain communication and drive service levels through vendor relationships (outsourced partners or third-party vendors)

  • A sincere willingness to provide service to residents, guests, and peers.

  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.

  • Ability to function well under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions.

  • High work ethic, with a sense of responsibility for the role filled within our team.

A successful candidate will have 3-5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in resorts, and who already possess legal work authorization for employment in the United States.
