Work Scheduleย 

  • Monday-Thursday: 8:30AM - 5:30PM with one late day 10AM - 7PMย 
  • Friday: 8AM-5PM
  • At least one Saturday a month: 9AM-3PM

About the Roleย 

We areย seekingย a strategic, results-driven Assistant Director of Admissions (ADOA) to support and help lead the campus admissions team. This leadership role is ideal for a performance-focused professional who is passionate about student success and experienced in driving enrollment growth within aย metrics-driven environment. The ADOA partners closely with the Director of Admissions to oversee the full inquiry-to-enrollment cycle, ensuring prospective students are guided through a seamless, compliant, and high-quality admissions experience.ย 

As the Assistant Director of Admissions, you will coach, mentor, and develop admissions representatives whileย maintainingย accountability for individual and team performance goals. This role requires strong leadership, collaboration across departments, and the ability to balance hands-on recruitment efforts with departmental oversight. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, leads by example, and is committed toย maintainingย high standardsย of professionalism, compliance, and student-centered service.ย 

Keyย Responsibilitiesย 

  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Admissions (DOA) to lead the campus admissions department through the complete inquiry cycle to recruit and enroll students to meet departmental targets (*Note: the ADOA will be expected to work individual leads as needed)ย 
  • Train, support, mentor, lead andย facilitateย the development of admissions staffย 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Financial Aid, Marketing, etc.) to ensure a seamless admissions process for perspective students whileย maintainingย compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and proceduresย 
  • Conduct school tours and attend open housesย and weekend events, support student orientationsย 
  • Develop andย maintainย ongoing relationships with the prospective students from enrollment through graduationย 
  • Maintain departmental files on applicable regulatory standards,ย policiesย and proceduresย 
  • Performย additionalย tasks asย assigned by the Director of Admissions.ย 

Qualificationsย 

Education:ย ย 

  • High School Diploma or GEDย 
  • BS/BAย preferredย 

Experience:ย ย 

  • Minimum of 3 years ofย demonstratedย success in an admissions or similar, metrics-driven position, preferredย 
  • Effective, flexible, high-performance leadership and team management skillsย 
  • Ability to coach andย assistย in the growth and development of individual Admissions team membersย 
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skillsย 
  • Consultative approach with excellent listening skillsย 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skillsย 
  • Organizational and time management skillsย 
  • Exhibits a positive, team-oriented attitude byย remainingย flexible and available to work outside of scheduled hours when needed, as directed by the Supervisorย
