An assistant director of admissions provides administrative and technical support to the admissions department or a high school, college, or university. In this position, your responsibilities include collecting data and analysis related to admissions rates, the demographics of applicants, and enrollment of new students. Your research helps the department develop enrollment or admissions goals. Although much of your role centers on larger strategic goals, you also assist the department in evaluating applications and interviewing applicants, and may be assigned to provide more standard admissions services, such as student outreach and networking for a specific region or area.
