We are hiring bothย Lead Culinary Instructorsย andย Classroom Assistantsย for:

Positions

Lead Culinary Instructor
(Ideal for Teachers, Camp Counselors, Group Leaders, or Experienced Classroom Leaders)
Youโ€™ll:

  • Teach hands-on cooking classes for ages 4+ (classes range from 60-90 minutes)
  • Lead field trips and homeschool programs using the Young Chefs Academy Franchise curriculum
  • Manage classroom flow and keep students engaged and safe while also connecting one on one
  • Lead birthday parties, workshops, and special events
  • Guide students in developing real culinary and life skills
  • Foster a positive, supportive learning environment

Culinary Classroom Assistant

(Great for High School & College Students Looking for Experience Working with Kids)
Youโ€™ll:

  • Support the instructor during classes, field trips, and camps
  • Help students follow recipes and use tools safely
  • Prep ingredients and cooking stations
  • Assist with kitchen & location cleanup and organization
  • Help create a fun, welcoming, confidence-building environment

Schedule

We offer flexible part-time scheduling. Typical shifts include:

Classes:

  • Weekdays after school/evenings (approx. 4:30pmโ€“8:30pm)
  • Homeschool classes during weekday daytime hours
  • Field trips on weekday mornings/early afternoons

Parties & Workshops:

  • Primarily weekends (daytime and early evening)

School Break Day Camps (Summer, Spring Break, Thanksgiving & Winter):

  • Weekday daytime shifts (approx. 8:00amโ€“4:00pm)
    Perfect for teachers & students with seasonal availability.

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • A genuine love for working with children
  • Positive energy, warmth, and patience
  • Leadership skills and confidence (for Lead Instructors)
  • Reliable, responsible, and good communication skills
  • Interest in cooking โ€”ย no professional culinary background required
  • Experience teaching, coaching, or mentoring kids is a bonus
  • Ageย 16+ย (Assistants) /ย 21+ย preferred for Lead Instructors
  • CPR/First Aid welcome (reimbursed after hire if needed)
