We are looking for a strategic Controller to join a growing organization in Lowell, Arkansas. This Long-term Contract position will lead finance and business operations while serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on performance, planning, and sustainable growth. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on leadership style, strong financial expertise, and the ability to strengthen processes, reporting, and operational decision-making across the business.
Responsibilities:
• Direct the company’s accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate oversight across core business activities.
• Guide monthly and annual closing cycles while maintaining timely and reliable financial records.
• Produce financial statements and executive-level reporting that support informed business decisions.
• Lead the development of budgets, forecasts, and longer-range financial plans aligned with organizational goals.
• Monitor cash position, manage banking relationships, and support ongoing liquidity planning.
• Create dashboards and key performance indicators to track financial health and operational performance.
• Evaluate margins, trends, and overall business results to identify improvement opportunities and cost efficiencies.
• Partner closely with senior leadership on strategic planning, internal controls, and operational enhancements, including support for system-related improvements when needed.
• Oversee internal accounting team members and coordinate effectively with external financial service partners.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Progressive leadership experience in finance, accounting, controllership, or similar senior-level roles.
• Strong background in financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Demonstrated success improving processes and building scalable financial operations.
• Effective leadership, communication, and cross-functional partnership skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with financial or enterprise systems.
• A certification such as CPA, CMA, or a comparable finance credential is preferred.
• Experience with multi-entity environments, business intelligence reporting, or growth-stage organizations is a plus.
