Job description

Objective

The Content Manager's primary responsibility is to pilot and improve our content management system while helping to develop unique and attractive travel content to drive bookings and engagement from our members.

Job Description

  • Learn the nuts and bolts of our content management system and take the lead on ensuring accurate and quality content
  • Determine what makes a hotel or resort unique and desirable for someone contemplating a vacation and use this information to produce copy that inspires trust
  • Work with our hotel partners to secure marketing collateral
  • Develop destination specific content that demonstrates why a particular is special
  • Coordinate graphics with designers and upload content into our content management system
  • Create interesting and engaging blog posts and magazine articles for the luxury traveler
  • Assist with managing campaigns including scheduling and publishing
  • Research travel trends and build strategies to increase readership as well as time on site
  • Represent the company and assist with building the company’s profile with publications, influencers, and associations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
  • 4+ years of relevant experience as a journalist, copywriter, editor, or digital content manager preferably with some focus on luxury travel
