Job description

Job Summary:

The Social Media and Content Manager will assist in the development and implementation of marketing and communications campaigns through utilization of various digital and social media platforms. The role will ensure consistent, relevant social media efforts coordinated with the overall business development and marketing strategies.

Core Duties

  • Manages the development and delivery of content to all organizational websites
  • Selection and creation of content to be published on websites representing XPEL
  • Ensuring content supports the organization's marketing or public relations strategies and presents a consistent message.
  • Measure and report performance, use analytics to determine future and content strategy
  • Own the development and maintenance of a content calendar, for daily operational use and forecasting/planning social media needs
  • Support other marketing, branding and promotional activities as necessary to support XPEL's sales and marketing objectives
  • Potential travel to events to capture content for social platforms
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to increasing the use of social media for national and international market presence
  • Strategize with and educate the management team and others across the company on incorporating relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all the company's products and services
  • Measure the impact of social media on the overall marketing and communication campaign efforts
  • Responsible for all QA associated with the release of new online content.

Basic Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Marketing, communications, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of broad social media and marketing experience
  • Experience managing the entire social media platform for growth-oriented Company
  • Advanced knowledge Facebook, Instagram and Twitter social media platforms
  • Above average experience and knowledge of content management platforms, social media integrations and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or other word processing software
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills (Must also need to be comfortable on camera during social media live stream)
  • Ability to work well with others both in person and across other offices through remote communications
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate and integrate with geographically dispersed leaders and teams
  • Strong problem-solving ability with prioritization and attention to detail
  • Ability to travel ~10% of the time
