The role typically requires strong writing, SEO, and project management skills.

Lendio

Retirement, PTO

Job description

Lendio is building awareness and credibility for two related growth priorities: Embedded Lending (enabling SaaS platforms to offer business funding inside their product) and a turndown partnership model for banks (routing declined borrowers to Lendio rather than losing them).

Both share the same core idea: meet small businesses at the moment of need, through the partners they already trust.

This role requires someone comfortable building the foundation, not just adding to a library that already exists.

What you'll own

PR & Earned Media

  • Develop and execute a proactive media strategy targeting fintech, SaaS, and SMB-focused publications and podcasts

  • Pitch and place bylines and contributed articles from Lendio executives and subject matter experts

  • Write and distribute press releases for product news and partnership announcements

  • Work with our events team to identify and submit for speaking opportunities in embedded finance and SaaS events

Content Development + Demand Gen Alignment

  • Work with PMM to build foundational content: case studies, executive POV pieces, ROI frameworks, and sales-stage one-pagers

  • Ghost-write LinkedIn thought leadership for Lendio executives targeting SaaS partnership, product, and growth leaders

  • Own content production for AEO and SEO initiatives, the growth team identifies the opportunities, but you will create the content. That includes FAQ-style content, structured answer formats, listicals/ comparison pages, and long-form pieces built to rank and surface in AI-generated responses.

  • Coordinate closely with marketing to ensure content serves both top-of-funnel awareness and deal-stage sales needs

  • Understand where prospects are in the buying journey and produce content that moves them forward

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in PR, content, or communications.

  • Demonstrated experience in fintech, B2B SaaS, or financial services

  • Proven ability to place earned media (bylines, features, podcast appearances)

  • Can write across formats: press releases, executive thought leadership, long-form content, one-pagers

  • Comfortable working without a fully built content library or established playbook

Pay Range:

Benefits

  • Be part of a high-performing, collaborative team, and have fun at work each day

  • Competitive pay

  • A full suite of traditional benefits

  • Untracked PTO (Paid Time-off)

  • 401(k) with company match

  • Company-contributed HSA

  • Onsite gym and standing desks

  • Wellness program

  • Discounted cellular plans

  • Paid Parental Leave

  • Infertility Coverage
