THE JOB

The Gorge Amphitheatre is looking for fun, energetic and music-lovin' people to fill this season's job openings. This is a seasonal, hourly position that works concert days only. Job begins in May with trainings and concert season will conclude in early October, with potential eligibility to return for full 2027 concert season.

The ancillary sales team is a fun and unique position inside our venue and campground, focused on onsite sales. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for communicating to our guests about additional amenities that the venue has to offer, such as our Parking, Venue Souvenirs, Ticket Upgrades and Lawn Chair Rentals. This team will work closely with the Ancillary Manager to determine what offers will be available for each show, and how this will be communicated to our guests. It is the perfect position for someone who is detail oriented and enjoys working independently while still being part of a team.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Greet all guests and assist in answering any questions they may have about the venue.

  • Communicate daily specials on Ancillary items, future ticket specials, and seat upgrades.

  • Sell, distribute, collect and organize lawn chairs throughout the venue.

  • Assist Ancillary Manager in setting up and breaking down signs, tables and tents as needed.

  • Inventory merchandise and help keep track of inventory through out the show

  • Work and be familiar in any and all ancillary areas

  • Proficient in operating electronic sales systems & processing transactions efficiently.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Position requires constant walking, standing and occasional sitting in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions; lifting/carrying 25+ pounds.

  • High school diploma/GED preferred.

  • Must pass pre-employment background check

  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Acute sense of judgement, tact and diplomacy.

  • Ability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays, including late evenings.

The expected compensation for this position is:
