Job description

Your next role should be one where you actually run things.
finoBlue Planning Group is a growing wealth management firm in Atlanta advising on approximately $380 million in assets for clients who trust us with their financial futures. Our team is small, our standards are high, and our culture is built on doing right by the people we serve. We're looking for an Office Manager who can take ownership of the business side of the practice so our advisors can focus on what they do best: taking care of clients.
This is not an admin role. This is the person who keeps the entire operation running. You'll manage HR, payroll, compliance coordination, vendor relationships, and the day-to-day flow of a professional office. You'll supervise a small team, own the employee handbook, coordinate performance reviews, and work directly with the principal advisor on business planning and strategy. If you're the kind of person who sees a broken process and fixes it before anyone asks, you'll thrive here.
What you'll actually do
  • Manage HR for a team of 5-6 people. Hire, onboard, and maintain employee files. Coordinate benefits, run payroll, track PTO, manage the performance review process, and own the employee handbook. One of your early priorities will be evaluating the current benefits package and bringing recommendations to strengthen it.
  • Invest in your team's growth and keep the right people. Build personal development plans for each team member, coordinate any coaching or consulting they need, and actively work to retain the people who are good at what they do. And because this is a wealth management firm, you'll also make sure every team member has a financial plan of their own.
  • Supervise daily operations. Manage team scheduling, workflow coordination, and the team calendar. Handle internal communications so corporate updates and changes reach the right people clearly and on time. Maintain job descriptions, keep the office running smoothly, and make sure CRM records stay current with accurate contact information and interaction history.
  • Handle compliance coordination. Work with Raymond James on branch compliance, audit preparation, CE tracking, and gift log management. Make sure marketing materials are submitted for approval and that every team member stays current on their licensing, designations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Own the firm's annual business planning. Conduct an annual business assessment, build the agenda for the planning meeting, run it, and schedule execution tasks so the plan actually gets implemented.
  • Drive growth and shape how the firm serves its clients. Define the marketing and event calendar, establish lead development pipelines, set targeting and messaging priorities, and run an annual prospect campaign to keep lists clean and contacts engaged. Work with the advisory team to evaluate client segmentation and adjust service models as the firm grows.
  • Lead people and protect the culture. Conduct team meetings, organize volunteer activities and team get-togethers, and handle conflict resolution when it comes up. Maintain a work environment where people genuinely want to show up, and attend client social and education events as a representative of the firm.

Requirements
What we're looking for
Must-haves:
You have 3+ years of experience managing an office, a team, or business operations in a professional services environment. You have hands-on experience with HR functions: hiring, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and performance management. You're organized enough to juggle competing priorities without dropping anything important. You communicate clearly in writing and in person. You're comfortable with technology and can learn new systems quickly.
Nice-to-haves:
Experience in financial services, wealth management, or a broker-dealer environment. Familiarity with Raymond James systems or similar BD platforms. Experience with CRM systems (we use Salesforce). A bachelor's degree in business, HR, or a related field. PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certification.
Benefits
What you get
Salary: $90,000 to $105,000 depending on experience, plus quarterly performance bonus. Benefits include medical (50% employer-paid for employee coverage), employer-paid group life and long-term disability, Safe Harbor 401(k) with match, and PTO starting at 10 days (increasing with tenure). You'll work in a professional, collaborative office environment with a team that genuinely cares about doing good work.
How to apply
Send your resume and a brief note about why this role interests you. We're looking to fill this role quickly, so don't wait.
