Job description

As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the authorized agents and providing accurate financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to support strategic decision‑making. This role reports to the Finance director and partners with cross‑functional teams to analyze business performance, identify trends, and recommend actions to improve financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead & manage day-to-day operations relative to Authorized agents by being their first point of contact for any request such as pricing, fees, technical issues, commission, etc.
  • Support stewardship reporting by compiling product data to ensure governmental governance
  • Collaborate with business partners to improve financial transparency and decision‑making
  • Assist with reporting & month‑end close, reconciliations, and audit support
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
Analytical & Insight
  • Build a best-in-class relationship with authorized agents that turn transactional, customer, and market data into commercial insight.
  • Compile, analyze, and validate financial and operational data to support reporting and analysis
  • Assist in identifying trends and variances, and escalate findings with clear explanations
  • Support the preparation of basic financial analyses, forecasts, and models under guidance
  • Translate data into simple, accurate summaries for internal stakeholders
  • Ask thoughtful questions to better understand business results and performance drivers
  • Apply structured problem‑solving and attention to detail in day‑to‑day analyses
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field (CPA designation is an asset)
  • Entry level or ideally 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or related roles
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, pivots, formulas)
  • Experience with financial reporting systems and ERP tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI, SAP BI).
  • Ability to translate financial data into clear insights for non‑finance stakeholders
  • Must be fluent in both English and French
