The location in Montreal, (Quebec, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of Senior Analyst, Finance. This job is full-time permanent.

Overview: Reporting into the Senior Manager, Cost and Financial Information, you will play a key role in supporting financial planning, data analysis, and strategic decision-making through the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and insightful reports. Working closely with internal teams, you will ensure compliance, identify risks, and deliver financial analysis that drives overall organizational performance.

Your Challenges:

  • Collaborate with different departments to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including variance analysis. Identify trends, opportunities, and risks to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholders. Communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and special projects as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Identify potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including accounting and operations.

Your Skills:

  •  Excellent written and verbal skills in both official languages*.
  • Rigor and attention to detail.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented with a strong team spirit.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or accounting (CPA an asset).
  • Three to five years of experience as a financial analyst or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Very good practical knowledge of Microsoft EXCEL (pivot tables, complex formulas).
