About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant with Data, Analytics, and Reporting(DAR) support Financial Crimes Operations teams. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.


In this role, you will:

  • Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors

  • Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs

  • Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements

  • Lead or participate on large cross group projects

  • Mentor less experienced staff

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 4+ years Business or Risk/Compliance Analytics and/or AML or Operations.

  • 4+ years SQL data querying experience (Teradata, SQL Server, Oracle, GCP)

  • 2+ years developing in Fabric, Python, Alteryx

  • Business Intelligent Report development experience (Power BI, Tableau, SSRS)

  • Prior experience building/supporting large analytical and/or reporting data environments

  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively

  • Ability to lead through adversity and adjust to changing priorities.

  • Demonstrated experience in business-oriented analysis, metrics design, and data visualization techniques using large data sets sourced from a variety of data sources

  • Operates independently with minimal supervision, and effectively manages work requests to meet performance expectations

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

  • The Senior Analytic Consultant is required to be in the office 3 days per week for a minimum of 8 hours per day.

  • The role is designed for a self-starter who can independently problem solve and execute with minimal manager oversight.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$87,000.00 - $154,000.00
