Job description

Tiger Analytics is looking for experienced Senior Consultant/ Manager to join our fast-growing advanced analytics consulting firm. We are looking for a Senior Consultant/ Manager - with strong experience in Python, SQL, Snowflake, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with SQL, data analysis, and consulting, and performing data analysis to support business insights and decision-making.

This role requires someone who is comfortable working with large datasets, transforming data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into solution requirements.
  • Work with large datasets using Python/PySpark (Databricks/Jupyter) for data processing and analysis.
  • Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting (e.g., CCAR, Basel, AML/KYC) and consumer financial data.
  • Experience handling large-scale consumer banking, credit risk, or payment processing datasets.
  • Consume and manage data from AWS S3 and integrate with downstream systems.
  • Leverage Snowflake for data warehousing, modeling, and performance optimization.
  • Build and maintain dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight) for business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data solutions

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or any related field
  • 7+ years of experience in Data Analytics, preferably within Tier-1 financial institutions, top 10 U.S. national banks, or global consumer banking.
  • Strong expertise in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and scripting.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
  • Hands-on with AWS (S3) and Snowflake
  • Understanding of banking/financial services data is must have
  • Experience working in a client-facing or consulting environment.
  • Hands-on experience in data analysis, data profiling, and exploratory analysis.
  • Hands-on experience in analyzing, identifying, and documenting transformation logic and rules.
  • Excellent teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
