We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team at our Springfield, Oregon headquarters. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the technical side of accounting and the opportunity to improve processes, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to a growing manufacturing organization.

This position offers a strong mix of accounting operations, financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement in a team-oriented environment where your work has direct visibility and impact.


What You’ll Do

  • Perform general accounting functions, including journal entries and account analysis
  • Complete general ledger and bank account reconciliations
  • Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting packages
  • Perform financial analysis, variance analysis, and reporting support
  • Develop and maintain accounting reports and supporting documentation
  • Assist with process development, workflow improvements, and internal documentation
  • Support accounting technology initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
  • Cross-train to provide backup support across multiple accounting functions
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support operational and financial initiatives
  • Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, audits, and reporting requests


Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred OR Associate degree with relevant accounting experience and demonstrated competence in application of accounting principles
  • 3–5+ years of professional accounting experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of GAAP principles and internal controls
  • Manufacturing, cost accounting, inventory accounting, public accounting, or product-based industry experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience working within an ERP/MRP system
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
