We also offer Individual life insurance, dental & vision insurance, disability insurance , Cafeteria benefit plans and 401(k) Employee Retirement plans. We are currently seeking a Benefits Assistant Account Manager to join our growing Employee Benefits Insurance team. You will be supporting our Account Manager team with quotes for new business and renewals, assisting with the renewal preparation, and preparing benefit guides and other Open Enrollment materials claim issues, billing issues, and other service matters. Other tasks include scheduling meetings with carriers and printing and binding prospect materials.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Work directly with clients and employees to answer questions and resolve their issues.
. Resolve enrollment and termination issues.
. Work with service teams and service team members to ensure continuity of workflow and processes
between teams.
, Maintain an assigned book of cases and stay in regular contact with all key client contacts.
, proactively call key contacts to check-in and for fact finding.
. prepare reports giving details of complaints and service requests on a monthly basis.
, Maintain organized filing systems and timely submit all employee paperwork.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
, Strong administrative background and 1-2 + years of experience in employee benefits including a
knowledge of employee benefit plans, ancillary coverages, and current legislation.
. Highly organized, technical, and analytical skills.
. Ability to operate independently and in a team setting.
. Client service mentality with active listening skills and be able to effectively communicate with clients
team members, and management.
, Proficient with MS Office products especially Excel, Outlook, and Publisher.
. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university preferred.
