Accounting Manager – Why This Opportunity

This is a highly visible Accounting Manager role where you'll partner closely with business unit leaders, help elevate the accounting team, and play a key role in improving processes, financial reporting, and operational collaboration. Accounting Manager – Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly close process, ensuring an accurate and timely 5-business-day close.
  • Manage end-to-end month-end accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Partner with FP&A and operational leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis while ensuring accounting accuracy.
  • Review accounting processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, and reporting across the organization.
  • Mentor and develop a growing accounting team while helping establish a collaborative, high-performing culture.
  • Build strong relationships with business unit leadership and serve as a trusted accounting partner across the organization.
  • Assist with technical accounting matters, financial statement preparation, and special projects as needed.
  • Support process improvement initiatives as the accounting organization continues to evolve and strengthen.

Accounting Manager – Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Manufacturing accounting experience required.
  • Prior accounting leadership or management experience with responsibility for month-end close.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting operations.
  • Experience partnering with FP&A and operations is highly preferred.
  • CPA is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
