Job Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager to support our growing team. This role will be responsible for managing core accounting functions and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in daily operations, month-end close, and financial compliance. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a small team environment and enjoys a mix of independent work and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
  • Assist in preparing for audits and coordinating with external auditors as needed.
  • Recommend and help implement process improvements to streamline operations.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to the VP of Finance and leadership team.
  • Handle ad hoc projects and financial tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
  • CPA certification is a plus, but not required.
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficient with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
