Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assembles wood frame foundation units per established work instructions using a variety of pneumatic tools (staple gun, nail gun).
  • Provides a consistent flow of materials to the build table without interruption.
  • Restock raw materials at the point of use.
  • Inspects wood units and finished units for unacceptable flaws or structural defects.
  • Staging finished products.
  • Performs all duties according to established safety and efficiency procedures and maintains workstation in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.

Requirements
Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • 1-year in a Fast-Paced distribution and/or production environment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high; therefore PPE for hearing and sight is required and can be provided.
  • Prior experience operating pneumatic tools.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats. Loose-fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
