Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week
Facility: Warehouse & Distribution

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Commercial Machine Assembler to join our team. This hands-on position is responsible for assembling, rebuilding, refurbishing, repairing, and testing commercial equipment in a warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills and be comfortable working with mechanical, plumbing, and electrical components. Experience with commercial dishwashers, ice machines, laundry equipment, or similar commercial equipment is preferred, but candidates with strong mechanical and equipment-repair experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, rebuild, refurbish, and repair commercial equipment and machinery.
  • Work on commercial dishwashers, ice machines, water softeners, and OPL laundry equipment.
  • Install and connect plumbing, pumps, hoses, valves, motors, switches, and related components.
  • Perform basic electrical wiring, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and make necessary repairs.
  • Disassemble used equipment, clean components, and replace worn or damaged parts.
  • Test completed machines to ensure proper operation before shipment.
  • Read and follow equipment diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Safely use hand tools, power tools, meters, and other shop equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Assist with receiving, moving, loading, and unloading equipment as needed.
  • Maintain quality standards while completing equipment efficiently and correctly.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in mechanical equipment repair, maintenance, assembly, or a related hands-on trade preferred.
  • Plumbing and electrical experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment.
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
  • Ability to read and follow diagrams, schematics, instructions, and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to safely lift, move, and handle equipment and parts.
  • Experience with commercial kitchen equipment, restaurant equipment, laundry equipment, appliances, HVAC, plumbing, or industrial machinery is a plus.
