Job Title: Manufacturing Technician / Assembly
Location: Bradenton, Florida
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Hours: 40-hour work week | No overtime | Weekends off

Job Summary

We are seeking technically skilled candidates with strong attention to detail for the position of Aluminum Door Manufacturing Technician. This role is responsible for fabricating and assembling aluminum door components while adhering to production schedules and maintaining strict safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabrication & Assembly:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to understand product specifications
  • Measure, cut, drill, and assemble aluminum extrusions and components according to design requirements
  • Operate fabrication machinery such as saws, drills, punches, and routers safely and efficiently
  • Ensure proper fit, alignment, and secure assembly of all door components

Painting:

  • Prepare aluminum and cardboard surfaces using adhesive glue and painting equipment
  • Operate and maintain painting equipment (spray guns, paint booths, etc.)

General Duties:

  • Perform quality control checks throughout the production process
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instruments effectively and safely
  • Follow all company safety protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
  • Experience with industrial painting processes, preferably spray painting
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools (saws, drills, etc.), and measurement tools (tape measures, calipers)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Understanding of workplace safety practices
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs consistently, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks
