Job description

GEODynamics in Millsap, TX is looking for qualified candidates for Gun Loading Supervisor. Our campus is on the frontage road of Interstate 20 near Millsap, TX.  Located west of Fort Worth, it is an easy commute from surrounding communities of Weatherford, Stephenville, Mineral Wells and Aledo. 

KEY ACCOUNTBILITIES:  

  • Supervises team that performs standard perforating gun assembly procedures by communicating job expectations and training and assigning tasks to loading team.
  • Develops reporting and analytics to support root cause analysis and forwards actions to improve forecasting, service, and inventory performance.
  • Leverages information technology including ERP functionality to automate, elevate, streamline, and standardize key processes and reporting.
  • Maintains inventory of necessary supplies and daily explosives inventory.
  • Leads the practice of safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and GEO-specific Health and Safety expectations.

QUALIFICAITONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4 – 5 years of experience in manufacturing and as foreman/supervisor.
  • Experience in demand, supply, and production planning with perforating products
  • Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures and ERP systems.
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office – Excel, Outlook, MS Word)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to safely perform related physical demands of the role:
    Bending, lifting, stooping, and standing greater than 50% of the time
  • Repetitive motion demands

Hands/wrist/shoulder 

Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds (over 50 pounds requires team lift.)

Work Environment/Environmental Conditions: 

  • Occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals, fumes, and gases
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
  • Walking surfaces: Outdoor areas ramps and rough/uneven terrain/stairs
