Job description

Mfg Tech -Valve Assembly
Valve Assembly Tech is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining molding machines used in the production of valves. This role involves a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail to ensure the efficient and precise manufacturing of high-quality valves.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
  • Assemble valves and related components
  • Cut shafts
  • Paint
  • Set stroke
  • Rebuild cylinders
  • Configure and set up
  • machines according to specifications
  • Operate equipment to produce valves within defined tolerances and quality standards
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process
  • Strong attention to detail and very safety oriented

Requirements:
  • Safe operation of all tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Materials handling experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented work environment
  • Ability to work scheduled hours and comply with the company policies

Required Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted. Physical capability to properly handle tooling and safely set up large pieces; including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products. Must be able to stand, sit and bend for long periods of time.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing environment: loud noise levels, high temperatures, dirt and sand.
Required PPE: steel-toed shoes, hard hat, safety glasses, dust masks, and/or respirators.
