Job Title: Manufacturing Specialist I - Assembly
Location: On-Site, Melbourne, FL
Employment Type: Temp to Direct
Industry: Defense & Aerospace

Schedule: 9x80, 7:00am-4:30pm
About the Opportunity:
Join a production team and contribute to the assembly of high-quality products that meet customer expectations for safety, quality, delivery, and cost. In this role, you will perform entry-level assembly and production tasks by following work instructions, drawings, and established procedures while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining a safe, team-oriented work environment.

What You'll Do:
  • Assemble mechanical, cable, harness, printed circuit board, and other sub-assemblies according to work instructions, drawings, and production requirements.
  • Perform basic assembly operations, including hardware installation, wire preparation, sleeving, auto-bonding, pull testing, and torque tool usage.
  • Inspect work for quality and accuracy, perform basic troubleshooting, and ensure products meet prescribed standards and customer requirements.
  • Safely operate production tools and equipment while adhering to all safety procedures, WHMIS requirements, and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.
  • Access and utilize production resources such as routers, parts lists, work instructions, and other manufacturing documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by participating in Lean events, 6S activities, and team-based problem-solving efforts.
  • Promote and uphold the organization's mission, values, culture, and commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
