Job description

Position: Assembly Packer, Second Shift
Location: New Albany
Department: Assembly
Reports to: Assembly Team Lead
Shift: Second Shift 1:45 pm - 10 pm
Pay: $14.50/hour
JOB SUMMARY
This entry-level position works in the Assembly Department and is responsible for ability to judge and inspect finished parts for defects as well as loading material into machines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
  • Judge quality of print image and look for defects on the anodized part.
  • Inspect and pack finished parts
  • Proper loading of material into machines

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination and achieve the needed work speed as well as accuracy.
  • Able to lift up to 25lbs unassisted throughout the assigned shift
  • Ability to distinguish between different colors and shades of color
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to detect small defects (scratches, dents, smudges, etc.)
  • Ability to work well under pressure of deadlines
  • Good attendance record
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Other duties as required
