Job description

Job Title: Assembly Technician

Location: Fairfield, NJ 07004

Pay: $20 - $25

Shift: Monday to Friday , 6:30am – 3pm

 

Open to entry level or junior candidates!

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and tool new and used packaging equipment.
  • Accurately use measuring devices such as tape measures, sound and temperature sensors.
  • Apply shop math skills in daily tasks.
  • Document machine assembly details, as-built specifications, and update assembly Bills of Material.
  • Troubleshoot and center-line machines using diagnostic skills acquired from experience.
  • Proficiently use hand drills and basic machine shop tools including lathes, milling machines, hand grinders, and more.
  • Repair and troubleshoot pneumatic components.
  • Read and interpret simple schematic and wiring diagrams.
  • Perform basic tig welding as needed.
  • Set up and change over packaging machines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clifton, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
