Work Environment

This position is designed to be completely remote, providing you with flexibility and the ability to work from the comfort of your own home. Although you will primarily work from home, you will have regular access to collaborative team meetings to discuss client care strategies and share insights with your colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs.
• Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans aligned with individualized client objectives.
• Provide therapeutic services, including individual, couples, and group counseling sessions, employing a variety of interventions tailored to specific issues.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, psychiatrists, and community health professionals to plan and enhance client care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential electronic client records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in weekly clinical supervision, case conferences, and continuous professional development to stay updated with best practices in mental health counseling.

Qualifications

• A valid License as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.
