Job description

Location: Onsite NAWCTSD Orlando, FL / NAVAIR Patuxent River, Lexington Park, MD (Hybrid / Remote options available)

As a Project Planner/Scheduler at Collaborative Solutions Pro, LLC, you will develop, maintain, and analyze Microsoft Project schedules to support baseline planning, performance tracking, and informed decision-making across defense customer environments. This role partners directly with cross-functional project teams to ensure schedule health, conduct critical path and risk analyses, integrate Earned Value metrics, and clearly communicate project status to stakeholders.

Area | Responsibilities

Schedule Development & Maintenance: Build, manage, and baseline project schedules using **Microsoft Project** to support project planning, forecasting, and execution.

Analysis & Health Metrics: Perform critical path analyses, schedule risk assessments, and schedule health checks consistent with industry and customer standards.

Team Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers, systems engineers, and functional leads to align schedule networks with technical scope, budgets, and resource allocations.

Reporting & EVMS: Prepare schedule performance reports, present status metrics to leadership/stakeholders, and provide Earned Value analysis inputs.

Quality & Compliance: Maintain quality assurance on schedule networks to ensure full compliance with internal policies, contract requirements, and DoD guidelines. |

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field with a minimum of six (6) years of handson project scheduling/planning experience in a technical, engineering, or defense contracting environment.
  • OR

    High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of ten (10) years of hands-on project management/scheduling experience in a technical, engineering, or defense contracting environment.

    Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in **Microsoft Project**, Microsoft Excel (advanced modeling/pivot tables), and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Security Clearance: Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Security Clearance.

    Core Competencies: Strong analytical problem-solving, independent task prioritization, and verbal/written briefing skills.

    Compensation & Benefits

    Location / Region | Base Salary Range

    Florida (US-FL) $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 / year

    Maryland (US-MD) $76,000.00 – $119,000.00 / year

    Exact base compensation is determined by job-related knowledge, skills, hands-on experience, and relevant geographic/market considerations.*
