Job description

Join a well-established equipment manufacturer supporting critical pumping and fluid management operations. This team is looking for a hands-on Equipment Assembly Technician to support the teardown, repair, and reassembly of diesel-powered pump equipment within a shop environment. This role is ideal for candidates with mechanical backgrounds ranging from entry-level automotive maintenance to experienced mechanics, who are looking to build their skills working on industrial equipment.

Training will be provided on pump systems and repair processes. Responsibilities Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble pump equipment and components Perform minor repairs and replace defective parts including filters, belts, and mechanical components Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues Perform regular maintenance work such as oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements Assist with diagnosing equipment issues and supporting repair processes Test equipment and components to ensure proper performance after repairs Clean, maintain, and prepare equipment for use or rental readiness Read and interpret basic technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics Required Skills & Experience: Must have basic mechanical experience in automotive, equipment, or similar hands-on work environments Must be able to identify basic diesel engine components such as filters, belts, and hoses Must have experience performing maintenance or mechanical repairs Must possess a personal set of basic hand tools Must have a valid driver"s license Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds High school diploma or GED required Preferred Skills & Experience: Experience working on diesel engines or heavy equipment Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems Familiarity with engine brands such as Perkins, John Deere, Cummins, Kubota, or similar Basic electrical troubleshooting experience
