Job description

Revology Cars is hiring auto body assembly technicians to build reproduction 1960s Mustang and Shelby GT automobiles at our facility in Orlando, Florida.
The Assembly Technician is responsible for installing and assembling exterior body panels and trim; gapping panels; adjusting windows and seals; and diagnosing and repairing squeaks, rattles, wind noise, and fitment issues. To be successful at Revology, you must be committed to quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.
PAY AND BENEFITS
  • An auto body technician at Revology Cars will make between $22-34 per hour, depending on their skills and experience
  • This is not a flat rate job - the pay is stable, and you don't have to worry about not being assigned enough hours
  • The workweek is 6:15 am to 2:45 pm, Monday through Friday
  • We offer company-sponsored medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 80 hours paid time off (PTO) starts accruing immediately after hire
  • 10 paid holidays annually

ABOUT THE JOB
  • Installation and alignment of doors, fenders, hoods, fascias, bumpers, windows, exterior and interior trim, moldings, and other components, adhering to a tolerance of +/- 0.5mm
  • Adjusting windows and doors to meet gap specs, eliminate wind noise, and be watertight
  • Installation of automotive interiors
  • Install NVH material, electrical harnesses and components, glass and mechanisms, exterior trim, HVAC systems, fuel lines and tank
  • Conduct electrical and water leak quality checks
  • Automotive technicians in trim possess a keen eye for detail, have great dexterity, are inquisitive and take pride in their work
  • The assembly technician is physically able to lift 50lbs and is comfortable working in restricted spaces. Assembly technicians work efficiently and with a quality mindset
  • The variety of available jobs means there is a path to career growth as technicians become more skilled

REQUIREMENTS
  • Prior experience in automotive manufacturing, repair, restoration, or assembly
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Technical or vocational training in auto body or refinishing is preferred
  • Ability and willingness to learn and follow safety rules and procedures
  • Ability to perform manual labor, standing and walking much of the time, and with a certain amount of manual dexterity (the ability to pick up, handle, and manipulate tools, parts, and/or materials quickly and accurately)
  • Ability to maneuver into, around, and about vehicles or components on an assembly line. Tasks may require some reaching, twisting, and bending
  • Ability and willingness to work in a team environment, including helping co-workers, maintaining, and promoting a safe work environment, treating co-workers with dignity and respect regardless of personal differences, and accepting and following instructions and requests from leadership
  • All positions require familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to use, or willingness to learn how to use, an iPad
