Job description

Your role
As a Operations Manager, your mission is to lead the performance, profitability, and day-to-day operations of the Service Center North America repair business, ensuring high-quality execution of engineered-to-order repairs while meeting financial and customer targets. You will report to the Business Line Manager.
You will
  • Oversee daily operations of the repair workshop and administrative team, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budgetain responsibility
  • Manage full P&L responsibility for the service center, including labor, material, and overhead cost control, while achieving KPI targets such as utilization, cost variance, and profitability.
  • Monitor project order costs in real time, ensuring adherence to budget and initiating corrective actions for any financial or operational variances.
  • Prepare and present monthly performance reports to the Business Line Manager, highlighting key metrics, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee daily operations of the engineered-to-order repair workshop, ensuring projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Review and approve Component Disposition Reports (CDRs) in collaboration with engineering to validate repair scope and procedures.
  • Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and take ownership of resolving non-conformances prior to shipment.
  • Lead, develop, and manage the workshop and parts team, including workforce planning, skills development, and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
To succeed, you will need

You have 5+ years of experience, working as an Operations Manager or in a similar manufacturing or service environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience in a turbomachinery or industrial environment
  • Proven experience managing business performance, including P&L ownership and operational KPIs
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Preferred: Background in turbomachinery, oil & gas, or industrial service operations
  • Preferred: Experience leading teams in a repair, manufacturing, or production environment
