Area Manager – Commercial Cleaning amp; Facilities Management

Grand Rapids amp; Hastings, MI | Clean Team Inc.

Clean Team Inc. is looking for a strong and reliable Area Manager to lead commercial cleaning operations in the Grand Rapids and Hastings area.

This is a full-time leadership role for someone with experience in janitorial services, custodial work, facilities management, or multi-site operations.

The Area Manager will lead cleaning teams, manage client accounts, inspect work sites, and make sure customers receive high-quality service.

Service Area

Grand Rapids, Hastings, and nearby West Michigan communities

The Area Manager will travel between customer locations as needed.

Schedule
  • Full-time, salaried position

  • Monday through Friday

  • Approximately 3:30 PM – 12:30 AM

  • Rotating weekend on-call schedule

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support janitorial and custodial employees at several locations

  • Visit work sites and check cleaning quality

  • Make sure customer and company standards are met

  • Train new employees and coach team members

  • Help employees follow safe and productive work practices

  • Manage staffing, schedules, and labor needs

  • Address employee performance issues when needed

  • Build strong relationships with customers

  • Respond to customer questions and service concerns

  • Track staffing, retention, and service quality

  • Follow OSHA rules and company safety policies
